Turn of the Centuries - UW Tacoma Campus Map
Turn of the Centuries - UW Tacoma Campus Map
University of Washington, Tacoma.
UW-T is nestled in the heart of historic Tacoma, along the Prairie Line rail bed - now an intriguing pedestrian mall. Former factories and shops along Pacific Avenue and stepping up the hill support the University's functions and the campus design incorporates both history of the site and modern design. The multi-block stairway that slices through the heart of campus and connects most of its buildings is a highlight - lovely in fall with the yellow leaves!
I included the notable Tacoma institutions - former Union Station, History Museum, Art Museum - across Pacific Avenue from campus, as well as the light rail line to show its dynamic location.
This watercolor map in the colors of UW purple is a great graduation gift or a special memento for UW-Tacoma Grads! 8" x 10".
